Abstract

Prosocial behavior is an action that aims to benefit others both materially and non-materially. This behavior really needs to be instilled in children from an early age so that when they grow up they will have a sense of helping each other, especially when that person experiences a disaster. Seeing that currently, the children's prosocial behavior is still low, the researchers invited the Kindergarten Dirasatul Aulad Jamaatul Ikhwan Surakarta as one of the research subjects to improve children's prosocial behavior through fire simulations. This research was conducted using quantitative methods with data collection methods in the form of socialization and interviews conducted with teachers or class B students in the kindergarten. Through this research, it can be seen that fire simulations can improve children's prosocial behavior, especially helping friends who experience fire disasters and providing information related to how to deal with fires or prevent them from occurring so that they do not cause casualties.

Abstract

Character education is an important and strategic step in rebuilding the identity of individual nations and countries. Character education must involve all parties such as parents, closest family, school, and community. Where human character is the result of the attraction between good and bad values in the form of positive and negative energy in oneself. Early childhood needs extra understanding and habituation because early childhood is the next generation of young people. So that in character education, children are taught to have noble characters who love and boast of their nation and country. One of the efforts from various groups, both government and society is done by developing children's soft skills education from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to finding out an overview of an empathy attitude of children in group B, knowing the factors that influence an empathy of children in group B, finding out the efforts of the teachers and the parents in developing empathy for children in group B, and finding out the results of developing children empathy attitudes group B by teachers and parents. Based on the theory and the problem of this study, the importance of cultivating the ability to empathy from an early age, so that children are able for social interaction positively, for example knowing the feeling of their friends, respecting the opinions of others and not discriminating against friends. The data collected by an interview, observation, and documentation of the problems that occurred. The research method used is a qualitative research approach with a single case study research type. The results of this study illustrated that the empathy of group B children has begun to develop, but there is one aspect that has not yet emerged, so the teachers and parents need to habituate and set an example both at home and at school.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the development of products in the form of a batik handbook on physical motor skills that are suitable to use for children aged 5-6 years. The problem underlying the research is that fine motor learning activities are usually given with the assignment method using LKA and conducted in the classroom. These activities show less effective results to improve children's fine motor skills, therefore the researcher aimed to provide varied and fun activities for children by making batik activities. The method used is ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model development research. In this study used 3 stages of ADDIE research namely  analysis stage, design stage, and development stage. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a validation sheet on material expert lecturers and media experts. The feasibility of the batik handbook media was reviewed from the aspect of graphic feasibility, the aspect of content feasibility, the aspect of presentation feasibility and the aspect of language feasibility. Based on the evaluation of the validity test in the overall development, the results obtained by media experts gained the score of 82.5% percentage included in the category of excellent qualifications. While the media  experts got the percentage value is 89.5%. The percentage included in the category of excellent qualifications which means and is suitable for use in batik learning activities. Based on theses result it can be concluded that the hanbook of batik on the fine motoric physical abilities of children aged 5-6 years. The developmentof a batik guidebook for kindergarten teachers that can stimulate the fine motoric physical abilities of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

This study focuses on children's problems in aspects of their social development. Children's social development is related to the child's ability to interact with friends, adults around them, or the wider environment. Social withdrawal or withdrawal is one of the behavioral disorders in children's social development. In this study, there is an overview, the causative factors, the obstacles that occur, the intervention, and the impact of the intervention on children who experience Social withdrawal. This research uses a qualitative case study method, which is a method of direct investigation and focuses on an event or activity intensively and in detail. This research is aimed at teachers and parents alike, in order to better understand every development that the child goes through, if there is a disturbance it should be resolved immediately

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of producing a valid, appealing, and effective instructional media product in a form of interactive PowerPoint that could help facilitate the learning process for my homeland theme. This study used the ADDIE model which consisted of five main stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and questionnaires. This research shows that the use of interactive PowerPoint instructional media on the theme of my homeland for children aged 5-6 years meets the valid, appealing, and effective criteria and can be used as a tool for teachers or educators in delivering thematic and meaningful learning for children.
